Production Progress with Trovalet

Hello Backers- We appreciate your patience as it has taken longer than
expected to send a Trovalet production update. As we were making final revisions to the design, we came across a few components that needed to be modified. Specifically, we have improved the construction of the main cabinet assembly to reduce weight and improve aesthetics. The lighting has
also been modified from battery-powered LEDs to a removable LED strip that is charged via USB. That will both reduce weight and make it easier to replace if a user ever encounters an issue with the LED lights.
One of the critical components for the functionality of the Trovalet is the
stabilizing brackets that rest against the back of the closet wall to keep
it level. We had planned to have them telescope outwards and lock in place.
However, to reduce weight and simplify assembly, we will instead use two threaded pads. At this time, the expected delivery date is first quarter of 2025. We are still pushing hard for the factory to have product on the water before Chinese New Year, but need to ensure we deliver a high quality product that meets all of your (and our) expectations. As with most new-to-market products, there are design changes and improvements made until the very end of the development cycle. We are disappointed by the delay, but rest assured that we are pushing hard to speed up the completion of the final changes and get the initial order in production. We had hoped by now to have pictures to share but expect to have them within the next 4-6weeks. Tooling will begin within the next 2-3 weeks, and production should commence by mid-November.

Making Progress: Product and Survey Updates

Happy Friday! We hope everyone’s summer is off to a great start. There has been some good progress made since our last update. We are currently about 2-3 weeks away from receiving the pre-production prototype from our manufacturing partner. The last two months have been spent refining the raw material selection and tweaking the overall design to maximize functionality and minimize weight. We are also working to increase durability and lower tooling costs by replacing several of the plastic components with aluminum. In our next update, we will include pictures of the prototype and more details on the final design.

Trovalet Update and What’s Next!

Thank you to all of our Trovalet fans! We're filled with immense gratitude for each and every one of you. Through 76 backers we passed our original $15,000 goal by 190%.
So what’s next?
- Pledges: All pledges have been and are being collected over the next couple of days.
- Surveys Coming Your Way: Keep an eye out for that late next week. We'll send out surveys to collect your shipping details and color selections.
- Updates on the production of Trovalet: We are working closely with our production team and everything is on track for a December delivery. We will continue to keep you updated throughout the next few months and until you receive your Trovalet.
