Dear Trovalet Backers,
We want to reach out with a heartfelt update regarding the Trovalet project. First and foremost, we are so very sorry for the delay in bringing Trovalet to life. We know many of you have been eagerly waiting, and it has been our goal from day one to deliver this project on schedule.
Unfortunately, unforeseeable circumstances have arisen that have forced us to put the project on hold momentarily. This was not an easy decision, and it comes after encountering a series of obstacles that we could not have anticipated. Please know that this pause is temporary, and our commitment to bringing Trovalet to you remains as strong as ever.
We are taking this time to regroup, address these challenges properly, and ensure that when we move forward, we do so with the quality and reliability you expect and deserve.
We deeply appreciate your patience, support, and understanding during this difficult moment. It means the world to us, and we promise to keep you updated every step of the way as we work toward resuming the project.
With gratitude,
Team Trovalet
Lots to Update – Progress, Patent News, and Your Input

Hello Everyone-
We hope you’ve been doing well and that your new year is off to a great start. We would like to share an important progress update with you. First, we’re excited to announce that the Trovalet has officially received a utility patent in China. This is a major milestone for our project and an important step in protecting the intellectual property behind the product as we move closer to manufacturing.
On the engineering side, we’re still actively working through the weight optimization of the cabinet. While performance and durability remain our top priorities, we also want to ensure the unit is as practical and user-friendly as possible. Our team continues reviewing materials and structural elements to reduce overall weight without compromising quality.
Because of your interest in Trovalet, we would love your feedback. At present, the cabinet weighs approximately 35lbs, and industry guidance recommends not exceeding 50lbs when fully loaded. Our original engineering goal was closer to 25lbs, which is why we’ve been actively working on weight reduction.
If we are unable to achieve any further meaningful weight reductions without compromising quality, do you think that is acceptable? If not, one option we have considered is to include a telescoping support foot. This support would be placed under the Trovalet and extend to a closet shelf or the closet floor to provide added stability and load support. No tools would be required, and the support would look something like the image below (for reference only). Please let us know your thoughts.

As always, thank you for your patience, trust, and incredible support. We’re making careful choices now to ensure Trovaletdelivers the quality and performance you backed us for and we’re excited to keep moving forward together.
More updates are coming soon!

Trovalet Update 11-30-25

– Sun, Nov 30, 2025 at 07:30:44 AM
Good morning and I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving Holiday. We wanted to share a brief update on our progress. During our engineering review of the finalized component drawings, we discovered that recent design adjustments have resulted in the unit weighing more than our target specifications. While we were originally advised the impact would be minimal, our evaluation showed that we need to refine this further.
We are now carefully assessing each component to identify smart ways to reduce weight while maintaining the performance and quality you expect. We anticipate having a clearer picture soon, and while this will extend our production timeline, the work we’re doing now ensures a better final product.
Thank you for your continued patience and support. We remain fully committed to delivering Trovalet at the standard it deserves.
Warm Regards,
The Trovalet Team
Trovalet Production Timeline Update

Hello Everyone,
We’ve got some exciting progress to share with you!
Tooling is now underway and we expect it to be completed in Q4. Once that is done, we will be able to build a final prototype with production quality components. This will be a big milestone, and enable the factory to make final preparations for full production.
From there, production will begin right away, with our goal to have the first container of units delivered Q1 of 2026.
We’re happy with the recent progress made and can’t thank you enough for your patience and support as we bring Trovalet to life.
More updates (and photos!) to come as we hit these next milestones.
Warm Regards,
Betsy Stec Market/ The Trovalet Team

Hey everyone,
Over the past few weeks, things have been moving along nicely. We’ve officially locked in a factory partner (huge milestone!) and have been having some great meetings with them. We’re currently fine-tuning the product, making some tweaks to improve performance and make sure everything is optimized for production.
We’ve got another meeting lined up in the next few days to go over the latest changes, and I’ll share more details with you right after that.
Thanks so much for sticking with us — more to come very soon!
Warm Regards,
Betsy Stec Market/ The Trovalet Team
